Biography

A pioneer in the digital industry for more than 20 years, Jill Braff was most recently General Manager of Ellen Digital Ventures (EDV), a business initiative created by the Warner Bros. Television Group and Emmy®-winning executive producer/writer/actor/host Ellen DeGeneres. At Ellen, Braff’s mission was to create a robust digital business stemming from Ellen’s award-winning television series. She created the Ellen Digital Network, connecting audiences to Ellen’s short-form and original content across many footprints, including Ellentube.com, and mobile games, such as Heads Up.

Prior to joining EDV, Braff was most recently Executive Vice President, Digital Commerce, for HSN, where she led the transformation of the Top 25 Internet Retailer’s ecommerce, mobile, gaming and social media platforms, and oversaw its $800 million digital business. Braff also served as an Executive in Residence and advisor for UNICEF.

Previously, she was CEO of Scrapblog, a social photo business with more than 2.5 million registered users. Braff was also a leader in the early mobile gaming market, recognized for building Glu Mobile’s leadership position as a public mobile game company during her tenure as Senior Vice President, Global Publishing.

Braff has held marketing positions at Ancestry.com, The Learning Company/Mattel, Sega, Nintendo of America and Griffin Bacal.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Colgate University.
