Pete Arden, Disruptor Beam’s Chief Marketing Officer, joined the company in 2015 to lead its Publishing team through the successful launch of Star Trek Timelines. Overseeing Brand Marketing, User Acquisition, Creative Services, Public Relations, Events, Community Management, and Player Support, the team is getting ready for the summer 2017 launch of its next game, The Walking Dead: March to War.
Arden has more than two decades of experience leading multidisciplinary teams in growth-oriented consumer entertainment businesses. Before joining Disruptor Beam, Arden was Vice President of Marketing at CCP Games, where he led marketing communications efforts for the company’s global publishing organization supporting EVE Online and EVE: Valkyrie. Prior to CCP, he served as Marketing Creative Director at Trion Worlds, Inc., where he supported the launch of the company’s first two premium online games, Rift and Defiance. Earlier in his career, Arden held production and product-design roles at Organic Media, NextPlanetOver.com, Hasbro Interactive’s Games.com, and PlanetOut Inc.
A graduate of New York University, Arden has dedicated his entire career to the marketing and design of digital entertainment products. Other game titles that he has worked on include Guild Wars 2, Aion, City of Heroes, and DUST 514.
