Biography
Keith Hindle is Chief Executive Officer of Digital & Branded Entertainment at FremantleMedia. He is responsible for leading the company’s digital and branded entertainment strategy around the world. The Digital & Branded Entertainment team has strategic oversight of the company’s growing digital business worldwide including original digital content, social media, second screen, and YouTube activity, as well as its branded entertainment business which has more than doubled in the last 12 months.
Keith is one of the industry’s foremost digital strategists: most recently he headed up the acquisition of Europe’s #1 MCN Divimove, he negotiated a JV with Vice Media and oversaw the launch of local digital studios including Tiny Riot! Keith works closely with the digital and sponsorship teams in FremantleMedia’s 31 local territories and sits on the operating boards of Divimove, FremantleMedia’s gaming company Ludia, and the leading fashion and beauty MCN StyleHaul, which is owned by parent company RTL Group.
Keith was formerly CEO Americas at FremantleMedia’s Enterprises arm. In this role, he developed and implemented a strategy for the company’s Americas businesses, which included operations in the USA, Canada, Brazil, Latin America and the Caribbean. Keith increased FremantleMedia’s position as a highly creative and successful rights exploitation company and oversaw distribution, home entertainment, brand integration, consumer products, digital and live events. He also led the major multi-platform sponsorship deals for FremantleMedia programmes including Ford, Coke and AT&T for American Idol, and Pepsi and Verizon for The X Factor. Prior to this, he worked at FremantleMedia in London and Germany where he managed international M&A activity; he has also held positions at Time Warner, Unilever and Shell Oil.
