Shanti Bergel

Mr. Shanti Bergel serves as Senior Vice President of Business & Corporate Development at GREE where he leads investments, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships. Leveraging over 20 years of industry experience, he is recognized as an expert on freemium monetization and digital distribution. Prior to joining GREE, Mr. Bergel oversaw publishing, international, and corporate development at social game developer Playfish. Before Playfish, he served as Vice President of Business Development at Three Rings, an early pioneer in the free-to-play space. At Electronic Arts, Mr. Bergel drove game development for two of the industry’s largest franchises – FIFA and The Sims – across a variety of platforms including console, PC, mobile, and online. He is an active angel investor and reformed ultimate frisbee player.
