Biography
Larry Linietsky was appointed Chief Operating Officer of HIGH TIMES in January 2016, after working nearly 25 years in the digital media, entertainment and technology industries. Linietsky has held executive management roles at iHeartMedia (fka Clear Channel), Napster LLC, Universal Music Group and at other digital media companies developing innovative programs driving broad consumer appeal and high ROI. While at iHeartMedia, via the iHeartRadio app which he launched, he delivered a Top 20 iOS app, a #1 iPad App and over 70 million registered users across the platform. He also led several investments and strategic partnerships including placing over 2,000 radio stations onto iHeartRadio and launching it on 45 digital platforms. Linietsky has also held roles as a General Manager and Chief Financial Officer at progressive digital companies like Napster and Universal Music Group, where he constructed foundational licensing platforms, consumer products and business models that remain in place to this day, driving digital revenue and consumer reach for their brands. Linietsky is responsible for technology, finance, legal, HR, digital products, licensing and co-leads the content team and strategy at Trans-High Corporation, the parent company of HIGH TIMES.
